Biography

HONORS: Academic All-WAC (2010, 2011, 2012).

2012 (JR): Played in 12 games, but did not record any stats... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2011 (SO): Played in all 13 games... Saw most action when Aggie offense went "heavy" with four tight ends as blocker... Also played on field goal and extra point block attempts... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2010 (FR): Rejoined squad after serving a two-year LDS Church Mission and went through drills in spring of 2010... Saw action in five games... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2007 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time all-state honoree in helping Logan (Utah) High School to the 2005 3A state championship... Also a two-time first-team all-region and two-time all-valley honoree... Played tight end, offensive line and punter... Had a 38.6 punting average... Also earned second-team all-region and first-team all-valley honors in baseball after batting .338 with 21 RBI, 15 runs scored and posted an on-base percentage of .423... Also a letterwinner in basketball... Earned academic all-state honors as well as on the Logan HS National Honor Society, graduating with a 3.954 GPA and the top 95 percent of graduating class.

PERSONAL: Son of Scott and Teresa Theurer... Married former USU volleyball player Nicole Gneiting in June of 2011... Has two brothers and one sister... His grandfather, Earl Lindley, was a USU running back, lettering from 1951-53, and a professional football player for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, helping the Eskimos to the 1954 Grey Cup Championship... His uncle, Lance Lindley, played at BYU from 1980-85 and another uncle, Wade Lindley, played at Weber State... Served an LDS Church Mission in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2008-10... Graduated from Utah State with a degree in human movement science.
