Jacob Pollock

Jake Pollock is in his first year with Utah State as a defensive administrative assistant. In his role, he will assist the defensive staff in daily football operations and weekly opponent scout.

Pollock comes to Utah State from the University of Sioux Falls, where he spent two seasons coaching the tight ends and running backs as a graduate assistant. In 2018, Pollock coached first-team All-American running back Gabe Watson, who also garnered NSIC and Super Region 4 Player of the Year accolades.

Pollock was also an assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stout for three seasons, coaching two second-team all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) receivers in Brian Alvarez in 2015 and Kevion McDonald in 2017.

While at UW-Stout, Pollock founded a student organization (Men in Education), which led to presentations at various professional development conferences.

A native of Litchfield, Minn., Pollock played wide receiver at UW-Stout from 2012-14. He graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in early childhood education and a coaching minor in 2016.
