Junior Salt

Junior Salt is in his first season as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for Utah State’s football team.

Salt comes to Utah State from Westminster College, where he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2018.

Salt was a two-year starter at offensive guard at Utah, spending his senior season of 2014 as a captain. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Utah in 2015.

Salt graduated with an associate’s degree in kinesiology from Mt. San Antonio College, where he was tabbed a two-time All-American on the offensive line, helping the Mounties to an undefeated season in 2010 (13-0) and national championship.

Salt, who played one season in the Arena Football League and one season in the Indoor Football League, served a mission to Tonga (2007-09) for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Ariana, have a 2-year-old daughter, Moeata. Salt is certified in CPR/AED.
