Trever McFalls is in his second year with Utah State as an assistant director of player personnel. In his role, McFalls serves as the offensive recruiting lead, assists with the evaluation of perspective student-athletes, is the recruiting assistant to passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach Jason Phillips, and assists with official/unofficial visits.Â
McFalls came to Utah State from Southern Utah, where he spent the 2018 season as the Thunderbirds’ director of football operations. Prior to that, he served as SUU’s assistant offensive line coach. In 2017, the Thunderbirds captured the Big Sky championship as the offense rushed for 2,091 yards.
McFalls’ first coaching stop was at Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper, Utah, where he coached the Soaring Eagle’s offensive and defensive lines. He also prepped at Juan Diego HS, earning all-state and all-region honors in 2009.
McFalls was a four-year letterwinner at Southern Utah, where he played tight end, defensive end and offensive line. McFalls earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in exercise science from SUU in 2015.
