2013 (SR): Played in the first six games of the season, including four starts, before missing the remainder of the year with an injury... Finished the year with 17 receptions for 93 yards (5.5 ypr) with three touchdowns... Ranked tied for third on the team in touchdowns and sixth in receptions... Caught a career-high four passes against BYU and had a career-best two touchdown receptions of five and eight yards against Weber State as he was named an honorable mention National Tight End of the Week by College Football Performance Awards... Also had a 3-yard touchdown reception at San José State.

2012 (JR): Played in 12 games, starting seven... Finished the year with six receptions for 31 yards (5.2 ypr), including his second career touchdown on a 10-yard catch against UNLV (9/29)... Had a career-high three receptions at Louisiana Tech (11/17)... Caught one pass for eight yards versus Texas State (11/3)... Also had two tackles during the year... Played 12 snaps at offensive tackle against Texas State (11/3) and graded out at 83 percent, including 92 percent in assignment to go along with three knockdowns... Played 10 snaps at offensive tackle against New Mexico State (10/20) and performed the right assignment 100 percent of the time to go along with two knockdowns.

2011 (SO): Played in 13 games, starting six... Made seven catches for 74 yards (10.6 ypr)... Caught first career touchdown on 18-yard pass against Wyoming (10/8) to go along with a career-high 27 receiving yards... Had a season-long 20-yard catch at Fresno State (10/15).

2010 (RS-FR): Saw action in nine games, making one start... Recorded one tackle on the season, coming against Idaho State (9/11), while returning two kicks for a total of 30 yards versus Hawai'i (10/23).

2009 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner at defensive line, offensive line and tight end at West Jordan (Utah) High School... Garnered all-state 5A honors as a senior, as well as being named the Region 3 defensive line MVP as a junior... Also a three-time all-region selection... Was team captain as a junior and senior... Defensively, tallied 48 tackles, including 18 for loss with six sacks, as well as one interception return for a touchdown and two forced fumbles... Offensively, had 35 catches for 458 yards with five touchdowns as a senior... Finished career with 153 tackles, including 50 for loss with 20 sacks, five forced fumbles, two interceptions, returning one for a score... Also ended with 65 receptions with 10 touchdowns... A three-year letterwinner in both basketball and baseball.

PERSONAL: Son of Don and Tami Tialavea... Has two sisters... Has two cousins, Russel Tialavea and Jesse Taufi, who played football at BYU... Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2013 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in business management and physical education administration...
