HONORS: Honorable Mention All-Mountain West (2013); College Sports Madness First-Team All-Mountain West (2013); First-Team All-WAC (2012); Academic All-Mountain West (2013); Academic All-WAC (2010, 2011, 2012).

2013 (SR): Started all 14 games at right tackle... Earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors from the league's coaches... Ranked second on the team with an overall performance grade of 87 percent, including 79 percent in technique and 90 percent in effort... Carried out the right assignment 97 percent of the time, including seven games where he graded out at a perfect 100 percent... Graded out above 90 percent four times in total performance and above 82 percent 12 times in effort and above 75 percent 10 times in technique... Posted 44.0 knockdowns... Finished his Utah State career starting 46 consecutive games.

2012 (JR): Started all 13 games... Earned first-team all-WAC honors... Tied for the team lead along with senior Tyler Larsen with an 86 percent overall performance grade, including 77 percent in technique and 82 percent in effort... Carried out the right assignment 98 percent of the time, including three games where he graded out at a perfect 100 percent... Graded out above 85 percent 10 times in total performance and above 80 percent 10 times in effort and six times in technique... Posted 44.0 knockdowns and only allowed 1.5 sacks during the season... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2011 (SO): Started all 13 games, starting at right guard in the Auburn (9/3) game before shifting to right tackle for the other 12 games... Graded out at 83 percent in overall performance, including 11 games over 80 percent... Executed his blocks with perfect technique 72 percent of the time, including at least 70 percent in 10 games... Carried out the right assignment 97 percent of the time, including two games where he did not miss an assignment... Also graded out at 80 percent in effort... Posted 71.0 knockdowns, which included a season-best 12.5 at defending national champion Auburn... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2010 (RS-FR): Saw action in 11 games, starting the final six games of the season at right tackle... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2009 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an all-state selection at Connell (Wash.) High School playing offensive line and defensive end as a two-year starter... Named the Central Washington Athletic Conference Defensive MVP... Helped Eagles to a third-place state finish his junior and senior seasons after winning the state championship as a freshman... Also a two-year letterwinner in basketball and a three-year letterwinner in track & field... Earned Connell HS field events MVP award after placing fourth in state in discus as well as being a state qualifier in shot put and javelin... Helped Eagles to state basketball tournament during both his junior and senior seasons.

PERSONAL: Son of Wade and Nancy Schultz... Has four sisters and two brothers... Served a two-year LDS Church Mission in Birmingham, Ala., from 2007-08... Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2013 with a human movement science degree emphasizing in exercise science.
