HONORS: Academic All-WAC (2010)

2010 (JR): Saw action in nine games, starting against Idaho... Recorded nine tackles (one solo, eight assists) and had a season-high three tackles in home opener versus Idaho State.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Helped Snow College win the Top of Mountains Bowl, finishing with a 10-2 record... As a sophomore in 2009, earned first-team all-region accolades after registering 46 tackles and six pass break-ups in addition to blocking two punts and two field goals... For his career at Snow, finished with 90 tackles, 20 pass break-ups and three interceptions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state and all-valley honors at Orem HS, helping the Tigers to the region title... Tallied 30 solo tackles, seven interceptions, two blocked field goals and one blocked punt his senior season... Also a multi-year letterwinner in baseball, track & field and hockey... Earned academic all-state honors.

PERSONAL: Born April 23, 1988 in Murray, Utah... Son of Diane and Curt Jones... Has two brothers and two sisters... Younger brother, Austin, plays football at Snow... Married to Kristy Jones... Went on an LDS Church Mission to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 2007-09... Majoring in interdisciplinary studies/pre-dental... Has future plans to be a dentist... Chose USU because of the coaching staff and the Aggies' defensive style.
