2017 (SR): Played in just seven games at defensive end due to injury, making six starts… Finished the season with 20 tackles (10-solo, 10-assist), which included 1.0 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss, while adding one forced fumble… Had a season-high five tackles against BYU (9/29), which included 0.5 tackles for loss, to go along with his first career forced fumble… Had four tackles, including 1.0 tackles for loss, against Colorado State (10/7)… Had three tackles against Idaho State (9/7)… Had two tackles, including 1.0 tackles for loss, against both Wake Forest (9/16) and New Mexico State (12/29) in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl… Also recorded two tackles against No. 9 Wisconsin (9/1) and San José State (9/23).

2015 (SO): Played in all 13 games, making four starts... Finished the season with 12 tackles (3-solo, 9-assist), including 0.5 tackles for loss... Had a career-high two tackles in five different games, doing so against Colorado State (10/10), San Diego State (10/23), Wyoming (10/30), Air Force (11/14) and Nevada (11/21)... Also had his lone quarterback hurry and 0.5 tackles for loss against the Cowboys.

2014 (FR): Played in 13 games and finished the year with one solo tackle at Hawai’i (11/1).

HIGH SCHOOL: Recorded 5.0 sacks at linebacker during his senior season in 2012 at Hunter High School in West Valley City, Utah... Also carried the ball 17 times for 106 yards (6.2 ypc)... Recorded 8.5 total sacks during his prep career... Also played rugby at Hunter HS and helped the Wolverines to the state championship.

PERSONAL: One of five children of Kaio and Georgina Togiai... Graduated from USU in the fall of 2017 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in social sciences... Last name is pronounced Tong-e-i.
