PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Played in one game at Central Washington, logging 10 tackles with one half tackle for loss, before suffering season-ending injury in first game of season. 

2008 (BYU): Played in all 13 games, starting two... Posted 50 tackles (19 solo, 31 assists) with one tackle for loss and half a sack... Added one fumble recovery and a pass break-up... Finished BYU career with 68 tackles (28 solo, 48 assists) with one tackle for loss, half a sack, two pass break-ups and one fumble recovery, in playing 26 games in 2003, 2004 and 2008 around LDS Church Mission. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-state honors at Lone Peak HS as a linebacker and fullback... Named the all-region 7 Defensive MVP and selected to the all-Utah Valley Elite 11... Rushed for an average of 5.5 yards per carry at fullback... Helped Lone Peak HS to 4A state championship game... Also a four-year letterwinner in wrestling... Rated the state’s top wrestler in his weight class, winning the state tile at 215 pounds as a senior... Served as team captain for both football and wrestling... A member of the academic honor roll. 

PERSONAL: Born June 21, 1985 in Los Angeles, Calif... Son of Charles and Joyce Ah You... Father, Charles, was a three-year letterwinner at running back for BYU from 1973-1975... Brother, C.J., plays defensive line for the St. Louis Rams... Brother, Jasen, is a coach at the University of Utah... Went on an LDS Church Mission to Philadelphia, Pa... Married to Kalynne, and they have an infant daughter, Jayda, who was born in June... Is an Eagle Scout... Earned bachelor’s degree in sociology from BYU in May, 2010, and is pursuing master’s degree in education at USU.
