CAREER RECORDS
Had 15 double-digit tackle games in his career and was the 64th player in school history to have 100-plus tackles during the 2023 season… Had 211 tackles and 16.5 tackles for loss during his two-year Utah State career.

SINGLE SEASON RECORDS
Set a school record with nine-straight double-digit tackle outings to end the 2023 season, breaking the previous record of eight set in 1999… His 10 double-digit tackle games on the season are also a school record and were tied for the third-most in the nation... Had 142 total tackles in 2023, which was the fifth-most in the nation, and tied for the ninth-most in a single-season in school history.

2023 (SENIOR SEASON)
Named a Phil Steele’s Magazine Honorable Mention All-American and earned first-team all-Mountain West honors as he started 12 of the 13 games he played in… Finished the season with 142 tackles (55-solo, 87-assist), which included 7.5 tackles for loss, while adding two forced fumbles, two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup… Became the 64th player in school history to have 100-plus tackles in a season… Set a school record with nine-straight double-digit tackle outings to end the season, breaking the previous record of eight set in 1999… His 10 double-digit tackle games on the season are also a school record and were tied for the third-most in the nation... His 142 tackles were the fifth-most in the nation and tied for the ninth-most in a single-season in school history… Posted double-digit tackles in each of his last nine games as he had 11 tackles against Georgia State (12/23) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, 11 tackles at New Mexico (11/24), 12 tackles against Boise State (11/17), 12 stops against Nevada (11/11), 13 tackles against San Diego State (11/4), 14 tackles against San José State (10/21), a career-high 17 tackles against Fresno State (10/13), 10 tackles against Colorado State (10/7) and 13 tackles against UConn (9/30)… Also had 12 tackles against No. 25 Iowa (9/2)… Was first in the MW and seventh in the nation in tackles (10.9 pg), and 10th in the MW in forced fumbles with two (0.15 pg).  

2022 (JUNIOR SEASON) 
Earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors as he started the first eight games of the season before missing the rest of the year due to injury… Finished the season third on the team with 69 tackles (27-solo, 42-assist), which included 1.0 sacks and 9.0 tackles for loss, to go along with one pass breakup… Was third on the team in tackles for loss… Had five double-digit tackle outings in those eight games, including a career-high 13 stops against Air Force (10/8)… Had 10 tackles, including a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss, against UConn (8/27) in the season opener… Had 10 tackles, and tied his career high with 2.0 tackles for loss, to go along with his lone pass breakup of the season, against Weber State (9/10)… Had 10 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss, the following weekend against UNLV (9/24)… Posted 12 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss, at Colorado State (10/15), and had eight tackles, including 1.0 sacks, at No. 19 BYU (9/29)… Also had a tackle for loss at Wyoming (10/22).

PREVIOUS SCHOOL 
Three-star recruit by 247Sports.com as a four-year transfer… Spent four seasons (2018-21) at Washington, appearing in 22 games… Finished his Husky career with 40 tackles, including 1.0 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss, to go along with one
pass breakup... Had 20 tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss, and a pass breakup in eight games in 2021... Had a season high five tackles against California and had four stops against both Stanford and Montana... Played in all four games in 2020 and had four tackles, including a season-high two stops, which included a sack, against Arizona... Appeared in seven games as a redshirt freshman in 2019 and had 13 tackles, including a season-high five stops against Eastern Washington... Redshirted the 2018 season as he played in three games and had three tackles, including a season-high two stops against Oregon State.

HIGH SCHOOL 
Three-star prospect and the 10th-best recruit in the state of Utah according to 247Sports.com... Listed as the No. 24 inside linebacker in the country by 247Sports.com… Ranked the No. 23 inside linebacker in the nation by ESPN and No. 24 by Rivals.com as he tallied 418 tackles, including 37.0 tackles for loss, during his prep career at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah... Named the 5A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2017, as he posted 133 tackles, including 19.0 tackles for loss, to go along with four interceptions...  Also earned first-team all-state honors following his senior season... Posted 200 tackles, including 16.0 tackles for loss, as a junior to help the Hawks go 11-2 and make it to the semifinals of the 4A state playoffs... Helped the Hawks to an 8-4 mark and the 4A state quarterfinals as a sophomore in 2015... Also played on the varsity team as a freshman in 2014. 

PERSONAL 
One of four sons of Moeilealoalo and Salome Tafisi... Earned his bachelor’s degree in integrated studies in the fall of 2022 and is pursuing his master’s in sports management... Last name is pronounced Tah-fee-cee.
