Biography

2009 (JR):  Started every game at left tackle, one of only two offensive linemen to start all 12 games and one of four offensive players and eight overall on team... Helped anchor school-record total offense output. 

2008 (SO): Played in all 12 games, starting seven... Third overall and second among returning offensive linemen for total offensive plays. 

2007 (FR): Started all 12 games at left tackle, only USU freshman and one of eight Aggies to start all 12 contests... Only offensive freshman and one of five freshmen on team to play in all 12 games... His 704 offensive plays were fourth-most on team, while his 717 plays, including special teams, were eighth on the team. 

2006 (RS): Redshirted his first year at USU… Earned scout team player of the week honors twice, leading up to the games against Wyoming and Utah. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team all-CIF selection… Also earned first-team all-league honors and was named the league’s Offensive Lineman of the Year… Earned academic all-league honors as well… Was a three-year letterwinner playing on both the offensive and defensive lines… Competed in track and tennis and earned field MVP honors while throwing the shot put and discus… Second-place in Mr. Lancaster Swimsuit Competition. 

PERSONAL: Born March 27, 1988 in Oakland, Calif… Son of Michelle Clemons… Has three brothers and one sister… Majoring in broadcast journalism and would like to get into coaching or sports media… Hobbies include sleeping, eating and video games... Vice-president of  the USU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and USU Student-Athlete Mentors Program (SAMs).
