Mitch Hardy

Mitch Hardy is in his second year at Utah State as the Assistant Director of Football Operations.

In 2021, Hardy helped the Aggies to their best season in school history as they tied the school record with 11 wins (11-3), won their first-ever Mountain West Championship with a 46-13 road win at No. 19 San Diego State, posted a 24-13 win against Oregon State in the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl and finished the season ranked 24th in the nation in both polls.

Hardy arrived at Utah State in January of 2021, via the University of Georgia, where he worked as a Football Operations Assistant for two years (2019-20).

During Hardy’s tenure at Georgia, he helped secure back-to-back New Year’s Six Bowl victories in the 2020 Sugar Bowl and the 2021 Peach Bowl.

Prior to Georgia, Hardy spent considerable time in the Arkansas State football program.

Hardy began his association with Arkansas State as a long snapper for the Red Wolves during the 2014 and 2015 seasons as he helped the team to back-to-back bowl games and a Sun Belt Conference championship in 2015. He later spent the next two years assisting the football operations staff as an undergraduate assistant, followed by one year as a graduate assistant.

Hardy earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management in December of 2017, followed by a master’s degree in sport administration in August of 2019, both from Arkansas State.

Hardy is a native of Muskego, Wisconsin.
