Monay Swafford is in his first season as a defensive recruiting analyst with Utah State football.

Swafford comes to Utah State after spending the 2021 season as a recruiting intern for Wake Forest. He also spent two seasons (2018-19) coaching the wide receivers at Minnesota State-Moorhead.

As a collegiate player, Swafford played cornerback for Concordia Moorhead (2012-2014) and wide receiver at Minnesota State Moorhead (2017-2018).

Originally from San Diego, California, Swafford graduated from MSU-Moorhead with a degree in exercise science along with completing his master’s degree in educational leadership from MSU-Moorhead in the winter of 2019.
