Slade Richison joined Student-Athlete Academic Services as an Academic Coordinator in August, 2019. He is the Academic Coordinator for football (offense/special teams) and soccer. Prior to Utah State, Richison spent one year as an Assistant Athletic Academic Counselor at Memphis working with a variety of sports. Prior to Memphis, Richison was a graduate assistant in the Office of Athletic Academics at Mississippi State while obtaining a master's degree in sport administration. 
 
A native of Hiram, Ga., Richison graduated from Georgia with a dual degree in journalism and sport management. In addition to serving as an Academic Coordinator, Richison is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A).
 
He enjoys watching sporting events, traveling and spending time outdoors.
