Summer Tujague (Two-Jay) is in her second season with Utah State as the assistant for head coach Bronco Mendenhall. The 2025 campaign will be Tujague’s sixth year working for Mendenhall.
In her first year at Utah State in 2025, Tujague helped Utah State to a 6-7 record (4-4 Mountain West) and its 12th bowl game in the last 15 years. With Tujague on staff, USU had 10 players earn All-MW honors, the most since 2019. Three players garnered first-team All-MW accolades, and two others were named to the second team, along with five honorable mention
Tujague spent the 2024 season at New Mexico as Mendenhall’s administrative assistant. Before joining UNM, Tujague worked in the Virginia football office for five years (2019-2023) in various roles, including as an assistant on-grounds recruiter.
Tujague’s father, Garett, coached the offensive line under Mendenhall at BYU from 2013-15 and then at Virginia from 2016-22, the first six of those years under Mendenhall.
The native of Santa Clarita, California, earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration and management from Utah Valley in 2021.
