2017 (SR): Played in eight games and finished the season with eight tackles (7-solo, 1-assist), to go along with three pass breakups… Had two tackles each against both UNLV (10/21) and New Mexico State (12/29) in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl… Also had tackles against No. 9 Wisconsin (9/1), Wake Forest (9/16), San José State (9/23) and Hawai’i (11/18)… Pass breakups came against SJSU, Hawai’i and NMSU.

2016 (RS-JR): Played in 11 games, making six starts… Finished the season with 27 tackles (21-solo, 6-assist), which included 0.5 tackles for loss, to go along with four pass breakups, which ranked tied for second on the team… Recorded at least one tackle in 10 of the 11 games he played in… Had a season-high seven tackles at USC (9/10), which included 0.5 tackles for loss, in his first career start… Had five tackles against New Mexico (11/12) and added three stops each against Boise State (10/1), Wyoming (11/5) and BYU (11/26)… Had a season-high two pass breakups against Fresno State (10/22), and added one pass breakup against both Weber State (9/1) and Nevada (11/19).

2015 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned Arizona Community College Athletics Conference (ACCAC) first-team honors at cornerback as a sophomore at Eastern Arizona Community College in Thatcher, Ariz., as he recorded 23 tackles, including a season-high six stops against Scottsdale CC... Recorded 37 tackles during his freshman season at Itawamba CC in Fulton, Miss., including a season-high eight tackles in back-to-back games against Coahoma CC and Northeast Mississippi CC.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Alabama Class 4A first-team all-city and second-team all-state honors from the Huntsville Times as an athlete as a prep senior at J.O. Johnson High School in Hunstville, Ala., as he passed for 1,493 yards with 18 touchdowns... Was also named his team’s Defensive Player of the Year during his senior season.  

PERSONAL: Son of John and Vickie Bailey... Graduated from USU in the fall of 2017 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in health and wellness.
