Biography

2003-04 SEASON (SR): Earned first-team all-Big West honors as a senior as he led Utah State and finished eighth in the conference in scoring with 14.0 points per game… Was second in the league in free throw percentage (88.0) and three-point shooting (.433)… Also named to the United States Basketball Writers All-District VIII team which consisted of the top-10 players in the Western United States… Went for a career-high 31 points against CS Fullerton (2/21) as he 11-of-15 from the field including 8-of-10 from three-point range, as well as going 1-of-2 from the free throw line… Scored in double-figures a team-best 18 times, including in seven of the final eight games… Also scored 20-plus points on five occasions… Led the team in scoring on 11 occasions… Finished the season shooting 48.5 percent (143/295) from the field… Had 30 steals on the season, second most on the team.
 
2002-03 SEASON (JR): Started 13 games during the season, including six of the final seven… Named to the Big West Conference all-tournament team after averaging 16.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game… During the three-day tournament, he scored 19 points against Cal State Fullerton, 12 points versus UC Irvine and had 17 points and a season-high eight rebounds against Cal Poly in the championship game… Finished the year third on the team in scoring at 8.7 points per game… Scored in double-figures 12 times during the season and had a career-high 19 points against Cal State Fullerton in the opening game of the 2003 Big West Tournament… Also played a season-high 39 minutes against the Titans in the tournament… Shot 43.0 percent from the field, 30.3 percent from three-point range and 83.7 percent from the free throw line… Recorded a team-high 21 dunks on the season.
 
2001-02 SEASON (RS): Did not play during the 2001-02 season as he was finishing some required course work.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A two-year starter at the College of Southern Idaho where he earned honorable mention all-conference and all-region honors as a sophomore… Averaged 10.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game and was the team’s second-leading scorer… CSI went 29-4 his sophomore season, winning the league championship before losing in the second round of the national tournament… Shot 52.6 percent from the field and 67.8 percent from the free-throw line… Averaged 12.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game as a freshman, shooting 51.4 percent from the field.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 30 points, 14 rebounds and five assists per game at San Mateo High School in San Francisco, Calif., during his senior season… Named the MVP of the Peninsula Athletic League and a second-team all-state selection as a senior.
