Biography

2006-07 SEASON (SR): Was a starter in 16 games for the Aggies during his senior season, while appearing in all 35 contests… Averaged career-highs in every major statistical category… Scored 5.7 points, while pulling down 4.6 rebounds per game… Scored a career-high 12 points at BYU (12/16) as he went 6-for-11 from the field while also nabbing a career-high five steals… Had a career-high 10 rebounds on two occasions, first against Idaho State (12/1), then later against San Jose State (2/3)… Shot at the fourth-highest rate on the team from the field at 52.5 percent (73-139) and from the free-throw line at 80.3 percent (53-66)… Also recorded career-best marks of nine blocks and 36 steals during the season… Scored in double-figures five times… Led the team in rebounding on nine occasions… Dished out a career-high four assists against Idaho (1/15)… Voted the Most Inspirational Player on the team by his teammates following his senior season.
 
2005-06 SEASON (JR): Played in 31 games and started five in his first season at Utah State… Scored a season-high nine points twice during the year against Brigham Young on Dec. 22 and at Idaho on Feb. 15… Also recorded a season-high nine rebounds against the Cougars… Had a season-high three steals at Oral Roberts in his first game of the season… Played a season-high 24 minutes at Fresno State on Jan. 7 as he had four rebounds and recorded a season-high four assists against the Bulldogs… Played extremely well in the 2006 Western Athletic Conference tournament as he averaged 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game, while shooting 80.0 percent from the field (4-5) and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line… Finished the season by averaging 2.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game… Averaged 15.0 minutes per game and shot 47.1 percent from the field and 69.6 percent from the free throw line.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE:Earned first-team all-conference honors as a sophomore at Grayson County College for head coach Pat Rafferty as he averaged 11.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game and shot 49.8 percent from the field and 63.1 percent from the free throw line… Was also named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore… Recorded three double-doubles during his sophomore season and scored in double figures 20 times, including a career-high 30 points against Odessa College… As a freshman at Grayson County College, he averaged eight points and seven rebounds per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from the free throw line as he earned second-team all-conference honors.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas as he earned first-team all-region and all-district honors his senior season averaging almost 11 points and nine rebounds per game… A McDonalds All-American nominee… Also earned three varsity letters in football… A member of the National Honors Society.
