Biography

2000-01 SEASON (SR): Had a breakout year for the Aggies during his senior season, starting all 34 games and earning honorable mention all-Big West honors… averaged the fourth-most minutes per game on the team (25.1)… Was also fourth in scoring at 10.4 points per game, while ranking second in rebounds (5.1) and leading the team in steals with 43… Was named to the Big West all-tournament team after averaging 10.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game during the tournament to help the Aggies to a conference championship… Scored in double-figures 16 times on the season, including a streak of six-straight games during the month of January… Went for a career-high 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, 4-of-7 shooting from three-point range and 2-of-2 shooting from the free throw line against Weber State (12/23)… Led the team in scoring five times, while leading the team’s rebounding efforts in nine contests… Averaged 12.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game during the month of January… Had a career-high 10 rebounds and his first career double-double as he also had 16 points in USU’s 67-52 win over UC Irvine (2/8)… Was the second-most efficient free throw shooter on the team at 82.4 percent (42-51), while ranking fourth from three-point range at 38.8 percent (66-170) and also going 43.7 percent (122-279) from the field.
 
1999-00 SEASON (JR): Provided instant offense with 127 points in just 328 minutes of play (averaged 4.0 points per game)… In the Big West Tournament, he had nine points against Pacific and a season-high 14 against Nevada… Also tied his season high with four rebounds versus the Wolf Pack… Scored in double-figures on four different occasions… 85 of his 122 shots were three-point attempts… Played in all 34 games and averaged 10.1 minutes per contest… Had a season-high 20 minutes versus New Mexico State (2/5)… Was third on the team in three-pointers made (28) and attempted (85).
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Averaged 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore… Hit 42.5 percent of his field goal attempts, including 37.2 percent from three-point range… Made 75.9 percent from the free throw line, while also averaging 2.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game… As a freshman he averaged 12.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game… Shot 45 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from three-point range… Also hit 78.1 percent from the free throw line.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team all-state selection as a prep senior and the 4A Player of the Year… Was named his league’s Most Valuable Player as well.
 
PERSONAL: Born July 4, 1978 in Kansas City, Mo… Is a criminal justice major and if he doesn’t play basketball, would like to be a police officer or work for the FBI after graduation… Says his grandmother Ora is his role model.
