2004-05 SEASON (SR): Appeared in 27 games during his senior year and averaged 1.2 points and 0.9 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game, while shooting 57.1 percent (16-28) from the field… Finished the season fourth on the team in blocks with 15… Also had two steals… Had a season-high four points on four different occasions… Started one game on senior night at home against Idaho (3/4).
 
2003-04 SEASON (RS JR): Played in 18 games on the season, including 10 league contests… Averaged 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game… Began the season by scoring five points to go along with a season-high 11 rebounds and four blocks against Fort Lewis College in 18 minutes off the bench… Had a season-high seven points at Long Beach State to go along with four rebounds in 12 minutes… Shot 66.7 percent from the field (12-18) and free throw line (8-12).
 
2002-03 SEASON (RS): Redshirted his first year at Utah State.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A two-time all-conference, all-division and all-region selection at Fergus Falls (Minn.) Junior College… Averaged 17 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a sophomore… Shot 56.7 percent from the field and 77.3 percent from the free throw line… Named MVP of his team as a sophomore… Averaged 13 points and eight rebounds as a freshman.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 14 points and eight rebounds per game during his senior year… A two-time all-conference selection… Also an all-state track athlete in the high jump… Heavily recruited out of high school by a number of Big 10 and Big 12 schools to compete in the high jump.
 
PERSONAL: Born July 4, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Okla… One of three children of Warren and Kay McVey… Majoring in general business… Enjoys playing all sports and hunting.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned first-team all-conference honors as a sophomore as he averaged 10.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game as Venture (Calif.) Junior College went 23-6 on the year, including a 12-0 mark in league play… Shot 62.1 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from the free throw line… Averaged nine points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a freshman, while shooting 60 percent from the field and 62.7 percent from the free throw line… Comes from the same junior college as former Aggie Desmond Penigar.
 
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 25, 1981 in New York, N.Y… Son of Janie Pugh… Brother James played basketball at Monroe College located in New York… Also has two sisters… Undecided on a college major… Enjoys drawing.
