2007-08 SEASON (SR): Became the only player in Utah State program history to earn back-to-back All-America honors as he was named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press for the second consecutive season… Was also named an All-American by CollegeHoops.net, and was named to the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-District VIII team and to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District 14 second-team… Became USU’s all-time scoring leader, scoring his 2,129thcareer point as he made a three-pointer on his first shot attempt of the game against Idaho on Jan. 19 in front of a sold-out Spectrum crowd in Logan. With this shot he moved passed the previous record of 2,127 career points scored by Greg Grant, who held the record for 22 years… Prior to capturing his spot atop the career scoring list, he used a 32-point outing versus Utah Valley on Dec. 20 to surpass Wayne Estes and climb into the number two spot… Averaged career-best marks in points per game (22.4), steals (33), three-point percentage (.498), free throw percentage (.919) and minutes per game (37.3)… Finished his career ranking first all-time at USU in games played (134), games started (132), minutes played (4,596), double-figure scoring games (121), field goals made (880) and attempted (1,721), three-point field goals made (369) and attempted (793), and three-point field goal percentage (.465)… Finished his career just 35 points shy of passing Utah’s Keith Van Horn for all-time leading college basketball scorer in the state of Utah… After being voted the pre-season Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year by both WAC coaches and the media, he was able to meet expectations as he led the league and ranked 13thnationally in scoring with 22.4 points per game, and was named WAC Player of the Year following the season… Was named one of the top 15 seniors in the nation by SportsIllustrated.com prior to the season, as well as a first-team high-major All-American by CollegeHoops.net… His 49.8 percent shooting from three-point range led the nation, while he ranked second in the country in free throw shooting at 91.9 percent… His 785 points is the second-most in school history… Made 114 three-pointers during the season, setting a new USU single-season record… Scored 20 or more points in 24 outings, while surpassing the 30-point barrier on six occasions… Scored a season-high 33 points against Northern Arizona (12/21) as he shot 12-of-15 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range and going a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line, then repeated with a second 33-point outing against Fresno State (3/3) as he shot 13-of-20 from the field against the Bulldogs… Recorded two double-doubles on the season, first against Iowa in Utah State’s win over the Hawkeyes in the South Padre Island Invitational (11/24), then later against San Jose State (2/9)… Led the Aggies in scoring in 25 of the team’s 35 games, including 13 of the final 14 outings… Also led the team in rebounding on 12 occasions… Was selected along with seven other players to compete at the 3-Point Shootout at the NCAA Final Four in San Antonio, Texas, and also competed in the NABC All-Star Game during the Final Four… Averaged 22.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in the WAC Tournament while shooting 54.8 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from three-point range as he was named to the WAC all-tournament team… Was named one of 10 finalists for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award and was one of five finalists for the Chip Hilton Player of the Year Award, which recognizes college seniors who excel both on the court and in the community.
2006-07 SEASON (JR): Earned honorable mention All-American honors from the Associated Press and first-team all-conference honors as he finished the season first in the WAC and 10thin the nation in scoring with 21.3 points per game… Also led the WAC and ranked 12thin the nation in free throw shooting at 88.8 percent… Ranked first in the conference in three-point shooting (43.2), fifth in overall shooting (52.7) and 12thin rebounding (6.3), leading the team in each category… Scored 746 points during the year, which ranks second all-time in school history behind only Wayne Estes who scored 821 points during the 1963-64 season… Those 746 points are also tied for the eighth-most ever scored in a single-season in the 45-year history of the WAC… Played 1,255 minutes (35.9 per game) during the year which ranks first all-time at Utah State, while his 21.3 point scoring average ranks 15thall-time… Became just the third player in school history to lead its league in scoring along with Greg Grant (22.6) and Eric Franson (184), who both led the Big West in scoring in 1986 and 1995 respectively… Scored in double-figures in 34 of the team’s 35 games during the season and had a stretch of 31-straight double-figure scoring games, which ranks eighth all-time in school history… Scored 20-plus points 21 times during the season, 30-plus points twice and 40-plus points once… Was named the WAC’s Player of the Week along with garnering National Player of the Week honors from ESPN’s Dick Vitale after scoring a career-high 44 points in Utah State’s 75-62 home win against New Mexico State on Feb. 5 as he was 12-of-16 from the field, 5-of-7 from three-point range and a perfect 15-of-15 from the free throw line, which is a school record… Those 44 points are the third-most ever scored in the history of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and the most ever by a USU player in the building… It is also the seventh-most points scored by an Aggie in a single game in school history and the most since Nate Williams had 45 points against St. Peter’s on Dec. 8, 1969… Those 44 points were also the fourth-most scored in the nation during the season and the 18th-most ever scored by a collegiate player from the state of Utah… Also had 10 rebounds against the New Mags… Led Utah State in scoring 24 times during the season and was the team’s top rebounder in 16 games… Recorded four double-doubles during the year, including a career-high 13 rebounds against Hawai’I in the first round of the 2007 WAC Tournament… Named to the WAC’s all-tournament team as he averaged 24.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in leading the Aggies to the championship game as he shot 47.9 percent from the field, 38.9 percent from three-point range and 91.3 percent from the free throw line… Named a second-team high-major All-American by CollegeHoops.net, along with being named to the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) District VIII team and to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District 14 second-team… Named the WAC’s Player of the Week and the Most Valuable Player of the 2006 BP Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska as he led Utah State to the tournament championship in November… During the three-day tournament, he averaged 24.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists, while shooting 57.0 percent from the field, 45.5 percent from three-point range and 88.9 percent from the free throw line… His 72 total points in the tournament were just two shy of tying the tournament record… Made 83 three-pointers to rank fourth all-time at USU for a single-season, while his 192 three-point attempts rank sixth… Also made 256 field goals which is tied for the fourth-most in a single-season in school history, while his 151 made free throws rank ninth.
2005-06 SEASON (SO): Earned second-team all-conference honors for the second straight season as he finished first in the WAC and 12thin the nation in three-point shooting at 45.1 percent… Also finished fifth in the WAC in overall shooting at 46.5 percent and ninth in the league in scoring at 16.3 points per game… Shot 78.9 percent from the free throw line to lead the team… Finished second on the team in minutes played (33.3), was first in steals (31) and third in assists (83)… Made 93 three-point field goals during the season, which ranks second all-time at Utah State behind Reid Newey who made 98 during the 1988-89 season… Attempted 206 three-pointers during the year which ranks third all-time on USU’s single-season charts… Scored in double-figures 28 times during the season, including six 20-point games and two 30-point games… Scored a then career-high 32 points at New Mexico State on Feb. 2 as he was 11-of-19 from the field and 10-of-16 from three-point range… Those 10 made three-pointers in the most in a single-game in school history and the most in a single-game in the history of the WAC… The previous school record for made three-pointers was nine by Jay Goodman against Brigham Young on Nov. 24, 1990 and the previous WAC record was nine set by six players and most recently by Marcus West of Fresno State against SMU on Feb. 7, 2004… Also tied USU’s single-game record with his 16 three-point attempts along with Corwin Woodward who also attempted 16 three’s against New Mexico State on Feb. 13, 1995… Those 10 made three-pointers were also tied for the second-most made three’s in a single game in the NCAA during the season… Named to the 2005 Gossner Foods Classic all-tournament team as he scored 21 points to go along with a career-high eight assists and seven rebounds against Arkansas-Little Rock and then added 20 points, four assists and two rebounds in the championship game against Binghamton… Concluded his season by scoring 21 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists against Washington in the first round of the NCAA Tournament… Had made at least one three-point basket in 30 straight games dating back to the 2004-05 season before going 0-of-3 from behind the arc against San Jose State in the regular season finale… Finished the season with 521 points… Named the WAC Player of the Week on Dec. 1 after leading Utah State to a pair of wins against Middle Tennessee at home and at Weber State… Against the Blue Raiders, he scored 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go along with three rebounds… He then scored a then career-high 30 points at Weber State on 10-of-16 shooting.
2004-05 SEASON (FR): Was the first freshman in Utah State history to earn second-team all-Big West honors as he finished the year first in the league in three-point shooting at 47.6 percent, which would have ranked fourth in the nation, but he was one made three-point basket shy of qualifying for the NCAA stats… Was also fourth in the league in field goal percentage at 52.3 percent and sixth in the conference in scoring at 14.7 points per game… Shot 73.8 percent from the free throw line… Became the first Aggie since 1991 and only the fourth in school history to be named Freshman of the Year in the Big West, joining Bryon Ruffner (1991), Kendall Youngblood (1989) and Greg Grant (1983)… Was the first freshman in the history of the Big West Conference to be named the Most Valuable Player in the league’s postseason tournament as he scored 12 points to go along with seven rebounds and four assists in USU’s semifinal win against Cal State Fullerton and then scored a game-high 22 points to go along with seven rebounds in the Aggies’ 65-52 win against then 16th-ranked Pacific in the championship game… Finished the year by scoring a game-high 18 points against then ninth-ranked Arizona in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as he was five-of-10 from three-point range… Those five made three-pointers is the most ever made by a USU player in an NCAA Tournament game… Named a freshman All-American by both CollegeInsider.com and Rivals.com… His 470 points scored on the season ranked sixth in the nation among freshman, while his 14.7 points per game average ranked 12th… Set a new freshman single-game scoring record at Utah State with 28 points against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 6, breaking the old record of 24 points set by Brian Jackson against Brigham Young on Nov. 24, 1990… Was 8-of-12 from three-point range against the Gauchos… Also set a new single-season freshman scoring record at Utah State with 470 points, breaking the old mark of 427 points set by Greg Grant during the 1982-83 season… His 14.7 points per game average is also a new school record for a freshman in a single-season, tying Grant who also averaged 14.7 points during his freshman season… Began his collegiate career by scoring 19 points against Georgia Southern and scored in double-figures 24 times during the season, including seven 20-point games… Recorded his first collegiate double-double on Dec. 1 when he scored 13 points and grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds in a 71-57 win against Brigham Young… Finished the season second on the team in scoring (14.7) and minutes played (30.4), and third on the team in rebounding (4.3) and steals (28)… Led the team with 79 made three-pointers and 166 three-point attempts… Shot 47.6 percent from three-point range, which ranks second all-time at USU for a single-season, trailing only Justin Jones who shot 49.6 percent during the 1997098 season… Was named to the all-tournament team at the 2004 BP Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska as USU finished with a 2-1 record and a third-place finish… During those three games he averaged 15.0 points and 3.7 rebounds, while shooting 53.1 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three-point range as he scored 19 points against Georgia Southern, nine against Central Florida and 17 versus Northwestern… Was also named to the all-tournament team at the 2004 Gossner Foods Holiday Classic hosted by Utah State University… During those two games, he scored 20 points and had a season-high five assists against South Carolina State and then added 16 points against Loyola Marymount… In the Gossner Foods Holiday Classic, he averaged 18.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists, while shooting 61.9 percent from the field and 61.5 percent from three-point range.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 39.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.6 steals per game during his senior season at Evanston High School in Wyoming as he led the Red Devils to a fifth-place finish in the 4A state tournament… Named the Wyoming Gatorade Player of the Year as both a junior and senior… Averaged 27.4 points, 3.3 steals and 2.8 assists as a junior.
