Biography

2004-05 SEASON (SR): Alternated in and out of the starting lineup his senior season, making 16 starts and appearing in all 32 games for an average of 17.6 minutes per contest… Averaged 3.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while shooting 51.0 percent (51-100) from the field and 46.2 percent (6-13) from three-point range… Had a career-high seven rebounds at Pacific (1/13)… Scored a season-high nine points three times, first against Weber State (12/11), then at Pacific (1/13) and at Cal Poly (2/3)… Was an academic all-Big West selection for the second consecutive year… Voted by his teammates as the player that “Best Represents Utah State Basketball” following the season. 
 
2003-04 SEASON (RS JR): Played in 26 games at the small forward position and started his first career game at Weber State… Scored a season-high 11 points against Fort Lewis College in his first game of the season… Played a season-high 20 minutes against Long Beach State and pulled down a season-high six rebounds in that contest… Finished the year by shooting 47.0 percent from the field… Averaged 2.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game… An academic all-Big West selection.
 
2002-03 SEASON (RS): Redshirted his first year at Utah State.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A first-team all-conference selection as a sophomore at Canada (Calif.) Junior College and a second-team all-conference selection as a freshman… Averaged 12 points and six rebounds per game as a freshman and 14 points and eight rebounds per game as a sophomore… Shot 51 percent from the field, 41 percent from three-point range and 82 percent from the free-throw line as a sophomore… Canada averaged 25 wins a year during his two season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: An all-conference and all-state selection at Pinewood High School in Los Altos, Calif… Averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior… Named first-team all-league and was the team’s MVP his senior season… Had career-highs of 43 points and 17 rebounds… Was also named the MVP of the men’s volleyball team and most improved player as a senior.
 
PERSONAL: Born April 23, 1980 in Mountain View, Calif… Son of Martin and Elizabeth Neil… A Spanish major… Enjoys playing all sports and cooking… Served an LDS Church Mission in Venezuela before enrolling at Utah State.
