Biography

1997-98 SEASON (SR): Had the top three-point shooting season in program history as he hit 49.6 percent from deep on 60-of-121 shooting… Also ranked fourth in Big West history for single-season three-point shooting percentage… Set the USU all-time record for minutes played in a season with 1,182, starting all 33 games and averaging 35.8 minutes per contest… Averaged 10.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game… Shot 46.7 percent (122-261) from the field and 84.6 percent (44-52) from the free throw line… Scored in double-figures 19 times, including a season-high 23 points at Cal Poly (1/15) as he shot 8-of-14 from the field, 6-of-9 from three-point range and 1-of-2 from the free throw line… Brought down a career-high eight rebounds at Minnesota (11/17)… Led the team in scoring four times on the season… Finished his USU career ranking first in career three-point field goal percentage (.449), fifth in career games started (94) and sixth in career minutes played (3,284).
 
1996-97 SEASON (JR): Started 28-of-29 games on the season… Led the Aggies with 46 three-pointers on 122 attempts (37.7 percent)… Made at least one three-pointer in 26-of-29 games, including each of the final 18 games of the season… Scored in double-figures in eight games with a season-high of 18 vs. New Mexico State in Logan… In that game he drained 6-of-9 three-pointers… Had a solid game at Pacific with 13 points and a career-high seven rebounds.
 
1995-96 SEASON (SO): Started all 33 games… Set Utah State single season records for three-point percentage (.467) and minutes played (1,159)… Led the Big West Conference in three-point field goal percentage… Averaged 10.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game… Scored 31 points vs Weber State… Made 7-of-14 three-pointers in that game… Scored in double-figures in 15 of his last 16 games… Named to the Big West all-tournament team, where he averaged a team-high 18.3 points and made 10-of-12 three-pointers during the three tournament games… His 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio was the second-best in school history.
 
PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Played in all 29 games, starting nine, as a freshman at Idaho State in 1993… Averaged 8.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25.8 minutes of play per game… Shot 41 percent from the field, including 39 percent (35-90) from three-point range and 83 percent from the free throw line… Earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors after averaging 17.5 points and 7.0 assists in wins against Northern Arizona and Weber State.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Named Idaho’s Prep Player of the Year by USA Today in 1992 after averaging 26.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game at Malad High School… Shot 58 percent from the floor, including 56 percent from three-point range… Made 91 percent of his free throw attempts his senior year… Was the state class 3A Player of the Year in 1991 and again in 1992… Finished his prep career with 1,975 points and led the school to a 97-9 record as a four-year starter… Also played football and was an all-state selection in that sport… Won the state title in the triple jump as both a sophomore and a junior… Was a key member of three state cross country championship teams… Posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average in high school and served as the student body president. 
 
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 5, 1973 at Pocatello, Idaho… Majoring in physical education and would like to be a teacher and a coach… Hobbies include hunting and camping… Served an LDS mission to Chile from 1993095… His cousin Michael is also a member of the USU basketball team.
