Biography

2015-16 SEASON (RS JR): Appeared in 30 games with 16 starts... Tied for the team lead with three double-doubles on the year... Recorded double-doubles against UVU (15 pts/14 rebs), SDSU (22 pts/11 rebs) and at NEV (11 pts/11 rebs)... Scored in double figures in 11 games, including a career-high 22 against San Diego State (1/2)... One of only three Aggies to log a 20-point game during the year... Fourth on the team with 8.4 points per game... Second on the team with 5.6 rebounds per game (15th in the MW), collecting 10 or more rebounds four times... Recorded a career-high 14 rebounds against Utah Valley (11/24)... Led the team in rebounding 11 times and also led the team in charges drawn with 13... Recorded 27 assists, 11 steals and five blocks... Shot 41.2 percent (77-of-187) from the floor, 35.6 percent (26-of-73) from behind the 3-point line and 71.3 percent (72-of-101) from the free throw line... Made his Aggie debut against Weber State (11/13), scoring 17 points and adding five rebounds and two assists... Recorded season highs of 22 points (SDSU, 1/2), 14 rebounds (UVU, 11/24), three assists (twice), one steals (11 times), one block (five times) and 32 minutes (three times).

2014-15 SEASON (RS):
Redshirted his first year at Utah State after transferring from the University of Tulsa.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Played in 34 games, with 22 starts, in 2013-14 at Tulsa... Helped the Golden Hurricane to a 21-13 record, including a 13-3 Conference USA mark, as well as winning the C-USA title and advancing to the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to UCLA in the second round... Averaged 5.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.7 steals, while playing 20.6 minutes per game... Shot 34.4 percent (63-of-183) from the field, including 25.9 percent (29-of-112) from 3-point range, along with 58.1 percent (25-of-43) at the free throw line... Led Tulsa in rebounding in three games, highlighted by a season-high 11 boards in two different games, along with netting double-figure points in two games, including a season-high 14 vs Tulane... Netted three 3-pointers in a game on three separate occasions, as well as posting single-game season-highs of three assists, two blocks and two steals.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played freshman season at Casper (Wyo.) College, where he played in 30 games, averaging nearly 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal per game... Shot 43.0 percent from the field and made 85.0 percent of his free throws in helping the Thunderbirds to the Region IX regular-season championship.

PREP SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL: Played one season at New Hampton Prep in New Hampton, N.H., where he averaged approximately 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for the Huskies... Was a four-year letterwinner at Highland High School in Salt Lake City, Utah where he earned first-team Utah Class 4A all-state accolades after leading the Rams to the 2011 Utah Class 4A state championship, after posting 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game... As a junior, earned second-team all-state honors after averaging 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds, and helping Highland High School to a third-place finish in the state playoffs.... Was an honorable mention all-state and third-team all-region honoree as a sophomore, after averaging 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds... Was also a three-year letterwinner and a two-year starter on Highland's baseball team.

PERSONAL: Is the oldest child of four children of Matt and Dayna Evans... Has two sisters and one brother... Majoring in business with a minor in management.
