Biography

1996-97 SEASON (SR): Earned second team all-Big West honors during his senior season at Utah State as he led Utah State in scoring with 13.2 points per game and in rebounding with 8.3 per game… Led the team in scoring seven times on the year, while leading the rebounding efforts on 16 occasions including the final seven games of the season… Started 28 of a possible 29 games, averaging 31.8 minutes per contest… Was named Big West Player of the Week on Dec. 23 after leading the Aggies to wins at Weber State (12/19) and versus Wyoming (12/21) and averaging 19.5 points 12.0 rebounds in the two contests… His 15 rebounds against Weber State marked a new career high… His 24 points against Wyoming was also a career-high as he went 9-of-14 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line… Earned Gossner Classic Tournament Most Valuable Player honors after averaging 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game to lead the Aggies to the tournament title… Tied a career high as he dished out six assists versus Boise State (2/22) in the final game of the regular season, then again with six assists versus Santa Barbara to go along with 21 points and 11 rebounds in the first round of the Big West Tournament… Recorded double-digit rebound totals nine times, while going for eight double-doubles, including in the final four games of the season… Was third on the team with 21 rebounds.
 
1995-96 SEASON (RS): Redshirted at USU during the 1995-96 season.
 
1994-95 SEASON (JR): Appeared in 26 games during his junior season, including three starts (vs. Illinois State, Cal Poly-SLO and UC Santa Barbara)… Averaged 4.9 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game while shooting 68 percent (55-81) from the field… Scored in double-figures five times… Had 12 points (6-8 from the floor), a season-high eight rebounds and four assists vs. Illinois State in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament… Scored 13 points each vs. Cal Poly-SLO (5-6 from the field) and Cal State Fullerton (6-7 from the floor)… Contributed 12 points (6-7 shooting) vs. UC Irvine… Hit 7-of-9 field-goal attempts and scored a season-high 15 points vs. Nevada… Had a season-high six assists at New Mexico State.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A two-year starter for Coach Joe Weakley at Los Angeles Southwest College… Earned Southern California Athletic Conference MVP honors for his play in 1993-94… Averaged 18.2 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks as a sophomore point guard… Scored a season-high 25 points vs. Oxnard Junior College in 1993-94… Averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds as a freshman in 1992-93.
