Biography

2002-03 SEASON (SO): Made 17 appearances during his sophomore season averaging 1.5 points and 0.6 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game… Recorded a season-high seven points in the second game of the season against Whitman College (11/26), then later repeated with a seven point performance at CS Fullerton (2/20)… Finished the year shooting 33.3 percent (7-21) from the field, 25.0 percent (2-of-8) from three-point range and 64.3 percent (9-14) from the free throw line.
 
2001-02 SEASON (RS FR): Played in 28 games on the season at both the shooting guard and small forward positions… Averaged 0.9 points and 0.8 rebounds per game as a freshman in just 6.7 minutes of action… Scored a season-high four points twice during the season against Western State and Cal Poly… Had a season-high three rebounds versus Centenary in the first round of the Gossner Foods Classic.
 
2000-01 SEASON (RS):Played as a member of the scout squad while redshirting his first year at Utah State.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year starter at Capistrano Valley High School for Coach Brian Mulligan… As a senior, he averaged 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.0 steals and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee… He was also a first-team all-county and all-CIF selection… He holds the school record for career steals and was his team’s MVP his final two years.
 
PERSONAL: Born June 23, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nev… One of three children of Scott and Adrienne Stowell… Majoring in construction management… Uncle Robert Stowell played volleyball at BYU, and his aunt Stacy Stowell played soccer at BYU… An avid backpacker and outdoorsman.
