Biography

2003-04 SEASON (SR): Played in all 29 games for USU as a senior and started 17 as he averaged 6.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game… Played 19.6 minutes per contest… Had a career-high 20 points against New Mexico State in the championship game of the Gossner Foods Classic, earning all-tournament team honors while averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game during the event… Had a season-high eight rebounds in USU’s 57-49 victory at UC Riverside (1/24)… Scored in double-figures six times throughout the season… Also recorded 20 blocks and six steals… Finished the season shooting 57.4 percent (78-136) from the field, while shooting 56.9 percent (37-65) from the free throw line.
 
2002-03 SEASON (RS): Redshirted during the 2002-03 season after appearing in 31 games as a junior.
 
2001-02 SEASON (JR): Showed flashes of brilliance at the end of the season, scoring 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting against UC Santa Barbara in the championship game of the Big West Tournament… Followed that game with seven points and four rebounds against Montana State in the opening round of the National Invitation Tournament… Best game of the season came against Western State as he recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in just 16 minutes… Averaged 3.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in his first season at the Division I level… Started two games and appeared in all 31 during the season… Shot 58.8 percent from the floor which was the best on the team.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Was a two-year starter at Irvine Valley Junior College, earning honorable mention all-conference honors as a freshman and first-team all-Orange Empire Conference honors as a sophomore… Was also named a junior college first-team all-state selection in California s a sophomore… Averaged 18.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore and 13.5 points and 8.0 rebounds as a freshman… Left Irvine Valley as the top scorer and rebounder in school history… Was third in the state of California as a sophomore in field-goal percentage at 64.7 percent.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 10.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a senior… A first-team all-baseline selection as a senior… Led his team to back-to-back league championships as a junior and senior and won the CIF championship his junior year.
