Biography

1994-95 SEASON (SR): Appeared in 16 games during his senior season for Utah State, averaging 8.3 minutes per contest… Scored 1.1 points while pulling down 1.9 rebounds per game… Was third on the team with 12 blocks… Finished the season shooting 16.7 percent (4-24) from the field and 71.4 percent (10/14) from the free throw line.
 
1993-94 SEASON (JR): Played in 24 games, including 20 starts… Missed three games with a sprained right ankle (DNP vs. UC Irvine, at New Mexico State and at UNLV)… Led Utah State in scoring (13.4 points) and blocks (43)… Ranked as the team’s second-leading rebounder (6.2 per game)… Listed among the Big West leaders in scoring (10th), free-throw percentage (seventh at .762) and blocks (second at 1.8 per game)… Scored in double figures 11 times, including five 20-point efforts… Named Big West Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 34 points in the regular-season finale vs. Nevada (11-12 from the field)… Had 33 points (10 of 12 from the floor), eight rebounds and four blocks vs. San Jose State… Had 38 points and 11 rebounds in the Cowboy Shootout and named tournament MVP… Collected a season-high 10 rebounds at Cal State Fullerton and vs. Chadron State… Had a season-high five blocks vs. New Mexico State… Shot 55.7 percent from the field last season, 58.8 percent as a sophomore, and 65 percent as a freshman… 
 
1992-93 SEASON (SO): Had a season-high 22 points against UNLV in the first round of the Big West Tournament… Also pulled down 10 boards in that game… Led the team in field goal percentage and was second in free-throw percentage… 
 
1991-92 SEASON (FR): Was named to the Big West all-freshman team in ’91 while winding up fifth in Aggie scoring (6.9 points) and third in rebounding (4.6) that year.
 
1988-89 SEASON (RS): Redshirted at Utah State prior to leaving for a church mission to Texas and Arizona.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Kearns High for coach Kenyon Clark… Made all-Region 3 team, averaging 14.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, shooting over 60 percent from the floor and 67 percent from the free-throw line.
 
PERSONAL: He is one of four children of Wayne and Sheri Wickizer and his brother, Jon, is also an Aggie team member… Plans to get a degree in elementary education to work as a teacher… Married to the former Heather Touchard… Born February 26, 1970.
