2010-11 SEASON (SR): Started 33 games while appearing in 34 and averaging 25.9 minutes per game. Averaged 8.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Shot a career-best mark of 82.1 percent from the free throw line (55-67), while also shooting 36.7 percent from three (51-139). 2009-10 SEASON (JR.): Started 32 games during the season and emerged as one of the best defensive players in the WAC as he was named to the league’s all-defensive team... Was named the WAC’s Defensive Player of the Year by Sporting News... Missed the first two games of the season due to off-season foot surgery... Finished the year averaging 8.7 points and 1.8 rebounds, while shooting 44.6 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from three-point range and 54.7 percent at the free throw line... Was third on the team in steals (19) and fourth in assists (74)... Averaged 9.4 points in league games... Scored in double-figures 14 times during the season, including twice in the WAC Tournament, as he had a career-high 18 points against Boise State (3/11) in the quarterfinals and 10 points against Louisiana Tech (3/12) in the semifinals... Scored in double-figures in six straight games during league play... Was named to the Basketball Travelers Invitational all-tournament team as he averaged 8.3 points and 3.3 assists during the three-day tournament... 2008-09 SEASON (SO.): Started 31 games and played in all 35 during his sophomore season... Finished the year averaging 5.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists, while shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from three-point range and 68.1 percent from the free throw line... Played an average of 24.6 minutes per game... During league games, he averaged 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while shooting 49.4 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from three-point range and 78.6 percent from the free throw line... Averaged 10.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists during the WAC Tournament as he shot 52.9 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from three-point range and was a perfect 11-of-11 at the free throw line... Scored in double-figures seven times during the season, including a then career-high 17 points against San Jose State (3/7) at home in the regular season finale as he was 7-of-10 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range... Registered a career-high six rebounds at Louisiana Tech (1/8) and had a career-high six assists against both Utah (12/22) and SJSU at home... Was voted the team’s Best Defensive Player by his teammates.
2007-08 SEASON (FR.): Played in 29 games, starting three in his first year at Utah State... Averaged 2.4 points, 1.0 assists and 0.8 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game... Shot 38.8 percent from the field, 36.0 percent from three-point range and 62.5 percent from the free throw line... His three starts were in consecutive games against Montana-Western (11/12), Cal Poly (11/15) and UC Irvine (11/17)... Scored a season-high 10 points against Illinois State (3/19) in the postseason MasterCard NIT as he was 4-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from three-point range... Finished the season by averaging 5.5 points and shooting 60.0 percent from the field in his last four games... Took two charges and recorded one dunk during the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-state honors as a prep senior in 2006 at Federal Way High School in Federal Way, Wash... Averaged just under 27 points and five rebounds per game as he led his team to the championship game of the district tournament...
