2002-03 SEASON (SR): Assumed the team’s starting point guard duties mid-way through his senior season, as he started 18 games for the Aggies and appeared in 31… Averaged 20.4 minutes per game… Went for 5.8 points, 1.8 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game… Shot 4-of-7 from the field, 3-of-5 from three-point range and 6-of-6 from the free throw line as he scored a season-high 17 points in USU’s Mar. 6 victory over CS Northridge… Scored in double-figures five times during the season… Finished the year shooting 33.3 percent (62-186) from the field, 35.9 percent (37-103) from three-point range and 65.5 percent (19-29) from the free throw line.
 
2001-02 SEASON (JR): Started all but one game for Utah State at the point guard position… Averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game in 27.2 minutes of action… Shot 75.9 percent from the free throw line and 36.2 percent from the field… Finished second on the team in assists and 10thin the conference… Also ranked fourth in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.73 which ranks ninth all-time at USU… Had his best game of the season against UC Irvine scoring 20 points to go along with five assists and five rebounds… Had a season-high 10 assists against Idaho State in the championship game of the Gossner Foods Classic… Scored in double-figures 10 times during the season.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A two-time first-team all-conference and all-region selection… Was named the Freshman of the Year in the Collegiate Conference of Central Illinois… Named a Preseason Junior College All-American heading into his sophomore season and a junior college Top-40 player by Rickballs.. Averaged 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a sophomore… As a freshman, he averaged 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game… Shot 40 percent from the field and 71 percent from the free-throw line as a sophomore… Led his team with 63 steals on the season and had a game-high 34 points this past year… Is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,249 points and second all-time in field goals (452), three-point field goals (129), steals (126) and free throws (218).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A first-team all-state selection as a senior… Averaged 25.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game… Named the MVP of his conference and region as a senior… Led his team to a 26-7 record as a senior and advanced to the quarterfinals of the state tournament… Also the state champion in the 800-meters as a senior. 
 
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 22, 1979 in Houston, Texas… One of two children of Jessie Ross… Majoring in physical education… Along with basketball, he enjoys running track.
