Biography

1995-96 SEASON (SR): A second-team All-Big West selection his senior season after leading the Aggies and ranking sixth in the conference in scoring at 16.7 points per game… Also ranked fifth in the league and second on the team in rebounding, pulling down 7.9 boards per game… Played all 33 games and started 29 for an average of 30.6 minutes per contest… Started the season by averaging 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists through the first four games… Had an enormous game against Hawaii-Hilo (11/26) as he went for a career-high 39 points on 17-of-18 (.944), the sixth-best single-game scoring percentage in program history, while also recording nine rebounds, three assists and a steal… Earned All-Big West Tournament team honors after averaging 14.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game during USU’s three-game run in the tournament… Scored in double-figures 27 times on the year, while going for 20-plus points a team-best 11 times… Led the team in steals with 53 and blocks with 25, while ranking second in assists with 3.4 per game… Was named to the Gossner Foods Classic All-Star team as he went for 25.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game during the two-game tournament… Led the team in scoring 14 times, while leading the team’s rebounding efforts on 15 occasions… Recorded double-figure rebounds 12 times, including a career-high tying 15 rebound outing against New Mexico State (2/22) to go along with 15 points and five rebounds… Had 11 double-doubles… Dished out a career-high tying eight assists in the semifinal game of the Big West Tournament against Long Beach State (3/9) as he had a near triple-double with 11 points and nine rebounds… Finished the season shooting 51.2 percent (191-373) from the field. 
 
1994-95 SEASON (JR): Played in 27 games in 1994-95, including 25 starts… Ranked as team’s third-leading scorer (12.4 points) and second-leading rebounder (7.2 per game)… Scored in double-figures 18 times, including five 20-point games, and led the Aggies in slam dunks with 39… Produced eight double-doubles (points and rebounds)… Listed among the Big West leaders in steals (sixth at 1.7 per game) and rebounds (ninth)… Stood second on the team in field-goal percentage (.566) and blocks (19)… Was third on the squad in assists (71) behind point guards Roddie Anderson and Covington Cormier… Played as well as anyone down the stretch, averaging 14.6 points and 11.0 rebounds over the last seven games while shooting 59 percent (38-64) from the floor… Recorded six-straight double-doubles during Utah State’s late-season run to the Big West Conference regular-season title… Tossed in 14 points and grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds (eight offensive boards) vs. UC Irvine in the PowerBar Big West Tournament… Nearly posted a triple-double vs. San Jose State with 20 points (8-11 from the floor), 11 rebounds and eight assists… Contributed 16 points (6-9 from the field) and 12 rebounds in the Aggies’ 75-63 victory at New Mexico State… Had back-to-back 20-point games vs. Cal State Fullerton (21) and UC Irvine (23 in 26 minutes)… Had 22 points and nine rebounds vs. Lewis-Clark State… Matched his season-high with 23 points vs. Southern Utah (8-9 from the floor) to go along with 11 rebounds.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned his A.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Lassen College in Susanville, Calif… Averaged 18.5 points and 9.7 rebounds as a sophomore in 1993-94 for Coach Norm Parrish at Salt Lake Community College… A second-team all-conference selection despite missing first 15 games in 1993-94… Later named to Region 18 and NJCAA all-tournament teams after leading SLCC to a 28-8 record and a fifth-place finish in the national playoffs… Attended Garden City (Kan.) College and played in only a handful of games in 1992-93 after transferring from the University of Utah… Originally signed a National Letter of Intent with Utah but sat out the entire 1991-92 season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Highly recruited prep player out of Washington High School in Milwaukee… Named MVP of the McDonald’s Kentucky Derby Classic in Louisville and Nike Tournament… Earned all-state, all-city and all-conference honors after averaging 16.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists as a senior… A three-year starter for Coach Jim Gordon.
