Biography

2008-09 SEASON (JR): Played in 34 games during his junior season at Utah State and averaged 6.0 points, 1.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 18.3 minutes per game… Finished the season leading the team and ranking fifth in the Western Athletic Conference in three-point shooting in 42.6 percent… Also shot 84.0 percent from the free throw line and 42.0 percent from the field… Scored in double-figures six times during the season, including a season-high 22 points against Fresno State in the quarterfinals of the WAC Tournament as he was 8-of-11 from the field and 6-of-8 from three-point range. 
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned all-region honors as a sophomore at San Jacinto JC as he helped the Ravens to a 23-8 record and a third-place conference finish… As a sophomore he averaged 15.4 points and 5.3 rebounds and shot 49.4 percent from the field (175-354), 43.5 percent from three-point range (87-200) and 72.2 percent from the free throw line (57-79)… During his freshman season at San Jacinto, he averaged 10.3 points and 2.6 rebounds and shot 44.9 percent from the field, 39.3 percent from three-point range and 79.5 percent from the free throw line.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Minn., and earned all-state honors as a senior as he averaged approximately 23.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game… Named an honorable mention McDonald’s All-American as a senior and played in four all-star games, earning Most Valuable Player honors once… During his high school career, he was named all-conference three times and was the MVP of his conference as both a junior and senior.
