Biography

2007-08 SEASON (SR): Made 11 starts during his senior campaign for the Aggies, while appearing in 34 games and averaging 23.2 minutes per contest… Averaged 9.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, and shot 58.4 percent from the field which ranked fifth in the Western Athletic Conference… Ranked third on the team in shooting, third in rebounding and fourth in scoring… Earned WAC Player of the Week honors on Nov. 26 after scoring 20 points in back-to-back games against Vanderbilt and Iowa to lead Utah State to a third-place finish at the 2007 South Padre Island Invitational… Tied a career-high of 22 points the fourth game of the season at Cal Poly as he shot 8-of-12 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line to go along with 10 rebounds in the game… Also recorded a double-double against Santa Clara (12/1) with 12 points and 10 rebounds… Led the Aggies in scoring three times, while leading the team’s rebounding efforts seven times.
 
2006-07 SEASON (JR): Started 30 games in his first year at Utah State, including 30 of the last 31… Set a school record in November by making 17-straight field goals during a two-game span, including a 10-for-10 performance against Drake on Nov. 18… Scored a career-high 22 points against Drake… Also scored 22 points at Santa Clara on Dec. 23… Scored in double-figured 18 times during the season, including three 20-point games… Recorded three double-doubles during the year as he had 13 points and 10 rebounds against IPFW on Dec. 21, 22 points and 11 rebounds against Santa Clara on Dec. 23 and 13 points and a season-high 16 rebounds against Fresno State on Mar. 3… Finished the year second on the team in rebounding with 5.1 boards per game and third in scoring with 10.2 points per game… Led the team in field goal percentage at 54.3 percent and was second in blocked shots with 15… Also shot 64.6 percent from the free throw line… Was 3-of-11 from three-point range on the year… Played a season-high 38 minutes against Nevada on Mar. 1… Also had a season-high three steals against the Wolf Pack in that game and was 2-of-2 from three-point range as he scored 20 points and added eight rebounds… Led the team in scoring five times and rebounding eight times during the season… Also led the team in dunks with five.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Led Hutchinson Community College in both scoring and rebounding during his sophomore year as he averaged 12.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 47.2 percent from the free throw line… During his sophomore season he recorded eight double-doubles and scored 20-plus points in six different games, including a career-high 26 points against Hamilton College… Also had a season-high 15 rebounds against Kaskakia College… Averaged 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds during his freshman season at Hutchinson and scored in double-figured 10 times during the year.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Andover Central High School in Andover, Kan., where he averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds during his senior season en route to earning all-state honors… Led his team to a runner-up finish at the state tournament and a 21-2 record… Averaged 17.5 points during his junior season and 16.4 points as a prep sophomore.
