Hunter Clark is in his second season with Utah State.

In the 2022-23 season, he posted an overall record of 12-13 and 3-3 in conference to finish tied for third in the Mountain West Conference. Seniors Bodin Zarkovic and David Cierny were named to the all Mountain West singles and doubles teams. In the conference tournament, the Aggies beat UNLV 4-3 to advance to the semifinals and beat New Mexico 4-3 to advance to the finals. 

Clark joined the Aggies from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, where was an assistant during during the 2021-22 season. Clark helped the Blazers to an 8-15 record. Prior to UAB, Clark spent the 2020-21 season at the University of Missouri Kansas City, assisting the Roos to a 5-1 record in league play and a berth in the finals of the Summit League tournament. While at Kansas City, he coached Grace Ball, who was named to the All-Summit League Women's Tennis Team.
 
Clark entered the coaching ranks in 2019-20 as a volunteer assistant at the University of Washington. The Huskies were 11-3 prior to the season being canceled due to Covid-19. UW finished 2020 with a Final ITA Ranking of 27. He coached Vanessa Wong, who was ranked the No. 75 singles player in the country and Natsuho Arakawa, who along with Wong, were the No. 59 ranked doubles team in the country.
 
As a player, Clark competed as a walk-on for Kansas City in the Fall of 2016 and was a part of the team that won the WAC Regular Season title 2017-2018.
 
Clark graduated with a degree in journalism from University of Missouri Kansas City. His father, Carl, is a former tennis player at Virginia who also played professionally, ranking as high as 24th in the world for players 30 and older.
