Petros Alex is going into his first season with Utah State.
Alex joins USU after spending the 2023-24 season working as an assistant coach for Oregon. During his season at Oregon, he helped the team place sixth place in the Pac-12 with a 15-13 overall record. This was the best performance the Ducks have had in six years.
Alex got his start in coaching working as the Assistant Director of Tennis at the North Oaks Recreation Center in North Oaks, Minnisota. He would instruct 30 weekly lessons for high school varsity athletes, and would help as a travel coach.
Prior to coaching, he played division I tennis at North Dakota, where he posted 12 career singles and doubles wins. He was named to the ITA Academic Team (2019-2023), AD Honor Roll (2019-2023) and the President's List in 2021.
