2021 (FR): Appeared in two games as a pinch runner… Scored her first-career run at UC San Diego (March 6).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Mission Bay High School in Chula Vista, Calif... Batted .419 (116-of-277) on her career... Hit 20 doubles, six triples and seven home runs, scoring 87 runs and batting in 45... Played five games as a senior before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic... Was a three-time first-team all-league player, helping her team to three-straight league championships... Also played golf at Mission Bay HS... Played club softball with the Firecrackers of San Diego, and Mountain West Fastpitch in West Jordan, Utah. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Frank and Cynthia Chavez... Has two older brothers... Majoring in animal, dairy and veterinary science.
