Brandon Buskey

Brandon Buskey

Brandon Buskey is in his third year with Utah State as the Director of Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning. Buskey oversees the training for all Olympic sports programs and works directly with men’s basketball and softball.

Before joining Utah State, Buskey served for two years as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Middle Tennessee where he worked with men’s basketball, softball, and track and field. Prior to that, Buskey served for two
years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Auburn where he worked with men’s basketball.

Before Auburn, Buskey served for one year at Alabama State as an assistant strength and conditioning coach where he worked with football, baseball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women's golf, and track and field. Early in his career, Buskey interned with Wake Forest for one year and worked with men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, field hockey, cheer and dance, and track and field.

Before and during the early stages of his coaching career, Buskey served for 17 years in the U.S. Army where he developed his leadership skills and mindset.

Buskey holds a certification as a strength and conditioning coach certified (SCCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and is first aid, CPR and AED certified.

Buskey earned his bachelor's degree in fitness, conditioning, and performance at Auburn in 2018 and his master's degree in adult education at Auburn in 2022.

Buskey and his wife, Angelika, have two daughters Lakelan and London.
