2020 (FR): Played in 14 games, starting three... Appeared as a pinch runner before making her first-career start as the designated player against Santa Clara (March 1)... Also played one game at shortstop and one at third base... Scored eight runs and had one RBI... Was hit by a pitch four times and walked once... Had two putouts and one assist... Season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Ridgeline High School in Millville, Utah... Batted .562 for her career... Finished high school with 32 doubles, 12 triples and 17 home runs... Also had 82 stolen bases... Earned first-team all-state honors as a junior and senior, and was a second-team honoree her sophomore year... Named the All-Valley Player of the Year in 2018, as she batted .566 on the season... Helped Ridgeline HS to a region championship in 2017... Team finished third in state in 2017 and fourth in 2019... Played club softball for both Cache Valley Vengeance and Mountain West Fastpitch... Also played basketball and volleyball in high school.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Cole and Tausha Thornton... Has one younger brother... Majoring in kinesiology.
