PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Playing the 2024-25 season at Western Michigan, starting all 30 games for the Broncos and earning all-MAC honorable mention honors... at WMU, Asensio tied for the team lead with 13.6 points per game and ranked fifth in the conference with 4.9 assists per game... also added 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game... scored a career-high 26 points against Akron, adding seven assists in the same game while recording a career-best eight assists against both Ohio and Kent State... spent her first two seasons at South Florida, appearing in 60 games for the Bulls... as a sophomore at USF, appeared in 31 games and averaged 1.8 points, 1.7 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game... played in both of the team's NCAA Tournament games that season... has shot 38.1 percent from the field and 34.2 percent from 3-point range on 3.0 attempts per game from behind the arc in her career... played point guard in summer of 2024 for the U20 Spain Women's National Team in the U20 European Championship... scored 15 points on a 5-of-9 performance from 3-point distance in a 76-40 win over Lithuania and swiped five steals in an 84-19 victory over Montenegro. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Institut Joaquim Blume in Esplugues de Llobregat, Spain...  played for Spain's U18 National Team in 2022 at the FIBA European Women's Championships, helping the team to a runner-up finish in the tournament... played at the club level with Segle XXI in Spain, averaging 10.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in 25 outings... scored in double figures in 13 games and had two 20-plus point outings, including a 28-point showing against Girona... also had 20 points against Sant Adria and fell just shy of a third 20-point game with 19 points against Sant Adria in the second meeting between the teams.
