Amber Marshall returned to Utah State as the director of operations and player development in 2021, after starring for the Aggies from 2017-19. Marshall is entering her second year as a member of the coaching staff in 2022.

Marshall appeared and started in 55 matches for Utah State during her career, leading the Aggies in minutes played during the 2019 season with close to 1,800 minutes on the pitch. In all, Marshall played in all but 15 minutes during the year and was named second-team all-Mountain West. Marshall finished her career with two goals and two assists, spending time as a holding defensive mid and a center back. Marshall was a three-time academic all-Mountain West selection and a three-time MW Scholar Athlete.

Following her career at Utah State, Marshall signed with the Houston Dash of the NWSL.
