Mountain West Freshman of the Week (10/27/25)

2025 - FRESHMAN
Played in all 23 matches, making one start and totaling 735 minutes of action... Ranked tied for third on the team with 13 points, coming on five goals and three assists... Took 19 shots on the year, nine of which were on frame... Was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week after going for a goal and an assist against Nevada (10/23), then following that performance by scoring two goals against San José State (10/26)... Also had goals in back-to-back games against Utah Valley (9/18) and at Portland (9/20)... Took a season-high three shots twice... Played a season-high 85 minutes in the team's NCAA Tournament First Round matchup at BYU (11/14)... Played 61 minutes in the Mountain West Tournament championship match at Boise State (11/8)... Was one of eight Aggies to play all 23 games. 

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinner at Mountain Crest High School in Hyrum, Utah... Earned all-state honors all four years of her prep career... Was named the Deseret News Utah 4A Player of the Year in both 2024 and 2022... Helped lead the Mustangs to three state and region titles (2021, 2022, 2024), with a combined 64-13 record during her career... Totaled 34 goals and 14 assists as a senior as her team went 19-1... As a sophomore in 2022, tallied 17 goals and 10 assists... Totaled 74 goals and 29 assists across her career... Also played club soccer for Utah Avalanche, helping the team to a State Cup championship in 2024.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Frano and Margo Barrera... Has three sisters and one brother, including her twin sister Bentli, who also plays for Utah State... Majoring in nursing.
