Helped Brighton HS to 5A state championship and No. 8 national ranking as a junior, a third-place finish at the state tournament as a sophomore, and a runner-up finish as a freshman... Also played softball for one season during high school.

Personal: Born June 23, 1989 in Provo, Utah... One of seven children of Robert and Kathleen Mendenhall... Has a sister, Lori, who is currently a sophomore on Idaho State's volleyball team... Also has a cousin who plays volleyball at Saint Mary's... Majoring in psychology.
