LOGAN, Utah - -- Senior QB Diondre Borel started for the 24th-consecutive game, which leads USU, as well as Borel's 24th career start... Junior LB Bobby Wagner made his 18th-straight start, which is second on the team.
-- Senior OL Spencer Johnson made his 34th career start, which leads the team, and his 15th-straight start... Joining Johnson for third on the team-best list in making their 15th-consecutive starts was the senior CB duo of Chris Randle and Rajric Coleman.
-- With his first quarter reception, junior WR Eric Moats now has at least one reception in 15-straight games.
-- USU's fourth-down conversion in the first quarter was the first time that the Aggies have gone for it on fourth down.
-- Borel capped that same drive with an 8-yard TD pass to sophomore WR Dontel Watkins... It was Borel's fourth TD pass of the season and Watkins' second TD catch.
-- Borel now has at least one TD pass in four-straight games dating back to the 2009 finale and 19 career games overall... Borel now has 32 TD tosses for his career (one tonight).
-- USU scored first for the first time this season and is now 3-7 under Gary Andersen when scoring first, and 7-10 since 2007.
-- Senior PK/P Peter Caldwell's 50-yard FG in the second quarter was a career-long, topping his previous long of 47-yards from his freshman year of 2007.
-- That is USU's first 50-yard field goal since Chris Ulinski's 56-yarder vs. New Mexico State in 2008.
-- USU has now made at least one FG in 14 of the last 15 games... The Aggies did not have a field goal against Boise State on Nov. 20, 2009.
-- Sophomore RB Kerwynn Williams' 38-yard rush in the second quarter was a new career-long, topping his 27-yard TD run vs. Idaho State on Sept. 11.
-- On USU's 9-play, 77-yard scoring drive that ended with Michael Smith's 3-yard TD rush, eight of the nine plays were rushes.
-- That was Smith's second scoring rush of the season and sixth of his career.
-- USU was tied at half for just the third time in the last four years (0-1 in 2009, 10-10 at NMSU, L 20-17; 1-0 in 2008, 7-7 vs Idaho, W 42-17; 0-0 in 2007).
-- Junior DE Quinn Garner snared his first career INT.
-- Borel's third-quarter rushing TD was his second of the season and 13th of his career, giving him at least one in two-straight games.
-- Freshman PK/P Braeden Loveless made his first career punt in the fourth quarter.
-- Junior LB Bobby Wagner led the team in tackles for the second-straight game with a career-high 17 tackles give him two double-digit tackle outings in a row and nine for his career.
-- The 41-24 final score with a scoring margin of 17 points was the largest in the USU-FS series since the Bulldogs' 53-21 win in 2005, after the last three meetings in Logan with a total differential of four points (USU 20-19 in 1991, USU 13-12 in 2006, FS 30-28 in 2008).
