TEAM NOTES
** Utah State is 1-1 to start a season for the fourth year in a row.
** With this season's 1-1 mark at home so far, the Aggies are now 211-19 (.917) overall at home under head coach Stew Morrill, including 105-9 (.921) in non-conference games.
** USU's 49 rebounds are its most since it had 55 rebounds against Troy on Dec. 23, 2010, while its 19 rebound advantage is its most since it out-rebounded Montana Western by 19 (46-27) on Feb. 16, 2011.
** USU's 24 offensive rebounds are its most since it had 27 offensive rebounds at Jackson State on Dec. 1, 2002.
** Utah State has now made at least one three-pointer in 201 straight games, dating back to 2006.
** Utah State is now 5-4 against Saint Mary's, with the teams alternating victories with the visiting team winning the last three meetings. USU is now 3-3 against SMC in Logan, and the Gaels have won the last two meetings, as the Aggies last hosted SMC on Dec. 5, 2009 which the Gaels won, 68-63, to snap the Aggies' 37-game home winning streak.
** USU is now 50-18 (.735) during the month of November under head coach Stew Morrill, which includes a 26-2 record at home.
** Prior to last season, Utah State had not played on Nov. 15, but this is now the second year in a row doing so.
PLAYER NOTES
**Junior center Jarred Shaw's double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds were both career highs, for both his USU career and his Oklahoma State career.
** Shaw's double-double is the Aggies' first of the season.
** Shaw's 15 rebounds were the most by an Aggie player since Nate Bendall had 16 rebounds against Fresno State on Jan. 11, 2011.
** Senior forward Kyisean Reed has now scored in double-figures 19 times in his career with Thursday's season-high 16 points.
** Junior forward Danny Berger's 10 points Thursday give him 11 career double-digit scoring outings.
** Junior guard Preston Medlin had his streak of double-digit scoring games snapped at six-straight games, last scoring in single-digits in USU's loss to Louisiana Tech in the WAC Tournament with six points.
** Junior guard Spencer Butterfield registered new career-highs of five rebounds, one block and one assist, as well as career-high 23 minutes.
