LOGAN, Utah -

Utah State Head Coach Stew Morrill:
"In the first half we couldn't guard them and we couldn't make a shot. We just talked about playing better in the second half, we really didn't talk about winning, and we just said we're not that bad and we can play better than that. We then started to cut into the lead as we went and we scored in a flurry. Our zone really helped us; it's hard when you're Weber State to see a zone like that the first time out on the road. It was a fun way to win, kind of crazy couldn't believe the score board, basketball is a strange game and you never know what's going to happen."

Utah State Freshman Forward David Collette:
"We came out and they were the better team in the first half. I don't think we were ready for that. We played a couple of exhibition games and the teams weren't as good. Weber State is a good team, they play hard and they were ready in the first half. We came into the locker room with our heads down, we thought all was lost, then our teammates started picking everybody up and we came together in the second half."

Weber State Head Coach Randy Rahe:
"They did to us what we did to them in the first half. We learned a valuable lesson today. We were the aggressor in the first half, had a big lead, then they came out in attack mode. We got on our heels and they won the second half like we won the first half. We learned a good lesson tonight, human nature is you're up at halftime and you tend to get less aggressive and think every thing is okay. We have a young basketball team and like I said we learned a valuable lesson."
