TEAM NOTES

• Utah State is now 2-7 in Mountain West play and 12-9 overall.

• USU is now 2-5 on the road this season, having lost its last five after starting 2-0 on road, and Utah State has won 30 of its last 53 road games and is 108-91 in road games under head coach Stew Morrill.

• The Aggies are now 3-5 this season following a loss and 77-33 during the last 14 years.

• Utah State is 0-1 in February this season as Saturday was USU's first of eight games in the month of February. The Aggies are now 76-33 during the month of February under veteran head coach Stew Morrill, which includes a 30-26 record on the road.

• This was USU's 12th game on a Saturday, its most-played on day of the week so far this season, now posting a 6-6 mark on Saturdays, as part of 152-61 in games played on Saturday under Morrill.

• The Aggies played on Feb. 1 for the first time since 2004 and USU is now 6-6 all-time in known games played on Feb. 1, as Saturday's loss snapped a two-game win streak on the date.

• With his 11 points Saturday, senior guard Preston Medlin moved up to No. 21 on USU's career scoring list with 1,242 points, passing Max Perry (1959-61) with 1,236 points and Jim Boatwright (1972-74) with 1,238 points. Medlin needs 13 points to crack the top 20, as Rich Haws (1973-75) holds the No. 20 position with 1,255 points.

• Medlin's 11 points is his 16th double-digit scoring outing this season and 61st of his career.

• Medlin has made at least one three-pointer in 18 of the 21 games this season and 37 of last 42 career games played.

• Senior guard/forward Spencer Butterfield has scored in double-figures 16 times this season and 35 of last 44 career games played with his 12 points Saturday.

• Butterfield has made at least one three-pointer in 20 of the 21 games, having his streak of 19 snapped by not making one in USU's last game, vs. New Mexico on 1/28... He has a trey in 43 of his last 45 games.

• With his three three-pointers Saturday, Butterfield has 13 multi three-pointer games this season, including seven of the last 10 games.

• Freshman guard JoJo McGlaston netted a career-high seven points, his fourth game this season with five or more points.
