LOGAN, Utah – Utah State volleyball (2-18, 2-6 MW) opens a four-match road swing this week, as it plays at Fresno State (11-9, 4-4 MW) on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. (MT).

All 2019 Mountain West matches, along with all of Utah State's home matches, will be broadcast as a USU Athletics Production on the Mountain West Network. All video feeds will be available live and in archive form at utahstateaggies.com/watch. Live stats will also be provided by SIDEARM for all home games, while road contests will also have live stats available. Links to each option will be available online prior to every match. In-match updates will also be provided through the team's social media outlets.

Fresno State opens the week with an 11-9 overall record, including a 4-4 ledger in conference play. The Bulldogs are coming off a split week, having swept San Diego State and losing at Air Force in four sets. As a team, Fresno State is hitting .184 (886-424-2,506). Freshman middle blocker Grace Doyle leads the Bulldog attack, hitting .251 (101-38-251), while junior outside hitter Desiree Sukhov is averaging 4.69 kills per set. Senior setter Madelyn Halteman is averaging 10.10 assists per set, while junior libero Reagan Leonard averages a Mountain West-best 4.60 digs per set. Doyle is also the leading blocker for Fresno State, averaging 1.00 per set. 

Utah State is hitting .138 (690-363-2,371) on the season. Senior opposite side hitter Izzie Belnap leads the Aggie attack, hitting .183 (90-35-300). The Aggies run a 6-2, with senior Heidi Carpenter and freshman Kalena Vaivai averaging 5.91 and 3.90 assists per set. Defensively, freshman libero Grace DuBay is averaging a team-high 3.15 digs per set, while sophomore middle blocker Autumn Spafford is the leading the Aggies with 1.24 blocks per set.
