LOGAN, Utah – Utah State volleyball (2-24, 2-12 MW) is set to open its final week on the road as it plays at No. 12 Colorado State (24-1, 14-0 MW) on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m.
All 2019 Mountain West matches, along with all of Utah State's home matches, will be broadcast as a USU Athletics Production on the Mountain West Network. All video feeds will be available live and in archive form at utahstateaggies.com/watch. Live stats will also be provided by SIDEARM for all home games, while road contests will also have live stats available. Links to each option will be available online prior to every match. Colorado State is riding a 23-match winning streak, the longest in the NCAA. The Rams are 24-1 on the year, including a 14-0 record in conference play. CSU is hitting .285 (1,173-402-2,708) on the season, while holding opponents to just .106 (822-533-2,738). Redshirt senior middle blocker Kirstie Hillyer leads the attack for the Rams, hitting .398 (235-53-457), while redshirt junior outside hitter Breana Runnels is averaging a team-high 3.67 kills per set. Senior setter Katie Oleksak is averaging a MW-best 10.96 assists per set, while junior libero Alexa Roumeliotis averages 3.95 digs per set. Junior middle Paulina Hougaard-Jensen leads the Rams on the block, averaging 1.37 per set.
Colorado State won the meeting between the teams in Logan this season, 3-0.
Utah State is hitting .136 (857-460-2,916) on the season. Sophomore middle blocker Corinne Larsen leads the USU attack, hitting .203 (119-49-345). The Aggies run a 6-2, with senior Heidi Carpenter and freshman Kalena Vaivai averaging 5.33 and 3.74 assists per set, respectively. Defensively, freshman libero Grace DuBay is averaging a team-high 3.14 digs per set, while sophomore middle blocker Autumn Spafford is the leading the Aggies with 1.24 blocks per set.
