LOGAN, Utah – Utah State volleyball (2-26, 2-14 MW) opens the final week of its season on Thursday, Nov. 21, when it hosts San Diego State (14-13, 7-9 MW) at 7 p.m.
All 2019 Mountain West matches, along with all of Utah State's home matches, will be broadcast as a USU Athletics Production on the Mountain West Network. All video feeds will be available live and in archive form at utahstateaggies.com/watch. Live stats will also be provided by SIDEARM for all home games, while road contests will also have live stats available. Links to each option will be available online prior to every match. San Diego State makes the trip to Logan with a 14-13 overall record, including a 7-9 ledger in conference play. As a team, the Aztecs are hitting .237 (1,319-543-3,277), with senior middle blocker Tamia Reeves leading the group at .396 (190-38-384). Redshirt sophomore Camryn Machado leads the team and ranks second in the Mountain West, averaging 10.49 assists per set. Defensively, redshirt junior libero Loren Teter is averaging 3.57 digs per set, while Reeves is the top blocker at 1.02 per set.
San Diego State won the meeting between the teams in San Diego this season, 3-0.
Utah State is hitting .132 (900-491-3,104) on the season. Sophomore middle blocker Corinne Larsen leads the USU attack, hitting .210 (129-51-372). The Aggies run a 6-2, with senior Heidi Carpenter and freshman Kalena Vaivai averaging 5.21 and 3.60 assists per set, respectively. Defensively, freshman libero Grace DuBay is averaging a team-high 3.14 digs per set, while sophomore middle blocker Autumn Spafford is the leading the Aggies with 1.24 blocks per set.
