LOGAN, Utah – Utah State volleyball (0-11) will play its final non-conference match of the season this weekend, as it plays at Weber State (8-2) on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m.
Saturday's match will be available to stream via Watch Big Sky. Live stats will also be provided. Occasional match updates will be provided on the team's social media accounts.
Weber State welcomes the Aggies with an 8-2 record, riding a four-match winning streak. Junior middle blocker Sam Scheiss leads the Wildcat attack, where she is hitting .411 (66-15-124), while the team as a whole is hitting .241 (447-152-1,224). Junior setter Ashlyn Power is averaging 10.56 assists per set. Defensively, senior libero Helena Khouri leads the team with 3.00 digs per set, while senior middle blocker Hannah DeYoung leads the team on the block with 1.29 blocks per set.
Utah State is hitting .118 (369-218-1,285) on the season. Junior middle blocker Bailey Downing leads the team attack, hitting .190 (68-32-189), as well as in blocks, where she is averaging 1.20 per set. Senior setter Heidi Carpenter is averaging 7.22 assists per set, while freshman libero Grace DuBay is adding a team-high 2.78 digs per set.
Season tickets for the 2019 volleyball season are now on sale. General admission season ticket packages are available for $27, while all Utah State faculty and staff can buy a season ticket for $22. Single-match tickets for the season will be $6 for adults and $3 for youth. Tickets can be purchased through the USU Ticket Office in person, online, or over the phone at 1-888-USTATE-1 or (435) 797-0305.
